Introduction to Somatic Yoga

You are invited to join us for a Special Movement Series in June 2023: Somatics and Somatic Yoga.
Gentle, Relaxing & Rejuvenative Integrative Hanna Somatic Yoga Series with Elisa Beth Haransky-Beck, Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator, EmbodiYoga Teacher (500-Hour certified), Spiritual Nutrition Counselor (M.A.) & certified Hanna Somatic Yoga Teacher
LIVE Classes in June 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2023 are from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern Time Zone, USA on Zoom.

Reminders:
Wear loose comfortable clothing.
Please arrive a few minutes early and be sure to mute yourself so as not to distract others with possible background noise.
Find a comfortable space on the floor where you can widen your arms into a “T,” (or to your easy range of motion).
I cue the classes (let you know what’s next) verbally and you will not need to look at the screen.
It is very helpful if your camera is pointed towards your whole body so I can give general feedback.
If you prefer not to turn on your camera, that’s ok too!

Stay within your easy and comfortable range of movement. The idea is to feel good and relaxed throughout the class. Remember Less is More!
Attend one or all of the classes. No prior yoga experience necessary.
I’m full of gratitude that you’ll be joining me for one or all of the classes. We’ll be experiencing this work very slowly and mindfully and staying within what I like to call our “elastic barriers,” meaning not pushing beyond just because we can put ourselves in a position, but staying within our range of comfort!
